If you are a person who is deaf, you were born deaf or it happened later in life, and you use a computer, how has your life changed or has it. Has a computer expanded your horizons, has it either enriched or limited your potential. Does a computer make you more acutely aware of your deafness or do you realize a new freedom.
Computers do not care or know if you are deaf and, I suspect, that the people with whom you interact, do not either; have you found this to be the case. Also, if you are a hearing person, have interacted with a deaf person, or, would you be more willing to do so? Computers are such an integral, inescapable, part of our daily lives, that we are no longer defined by the those limitations which once delimited us. What has this technology done to allow you the realization of your life?
