There are several types of boarding situations that an owner can choose from. The cheapest type of boarding is kennel boarding, and many small doggy day care companies only offer this type of service. For pets that are fairly inactive and calm, kennel boarding will be fine for that animal. For animals that need more exercise and attention, it's best to find a boarding place that offers more amenities and larger sleeping areas.

Pet lovers can also have their furry animal professionally groomed for much better results.

Dogs that have long hair should always have their grooming done by a professional so that their hair stays healthy and shiny. Additionally, most pet groomers also offer nail clipping. While some dog don't mind getting their nails clipped by their owners, other dogs will throw fits and can wind up getting injured. Dogs that are sensitive about getting their nails clipped should always have it done by a professional so that problems don't arise.
