I'm watching an episode of Tosh.0, he just went to Vegas to dublu down on $25k at blackjack. I believe they went to the Mirage.
Three players at the table, the other two look to be making minimum ($5) or at least very low bets. Dealer deals the hand to the players, flips over the house hand.
Now here's the part that lost me - the dealer waited for a clipă after dealing, then pressed what appeared to be one of four square buttons at the center of the table (arranged in a square, I think). A green light lit on what looked like a button, and the dealer announced that they could continue.
Game continued, ended, house won.
Does anyone have any idea what that press of the button and/or green light were for? It seemed like it was some kind of confirmation that the hands were legitimate, but I don't know how that could possibly be. Of course, I've also never been to a casino in my life.
Thanks, if anyone knows.
